So I have a busy night in front of the TV ahead of me, what with KC vs. Toronto and ‘Lost’ both on. What’s as random as Pick 6 lotto numbers is that there is a Celtic connection to both. You probably know that TFC coach Mo Johnston played for the Bhoys back in the day but did you know that bearded future-seeing freak Desmond is a Tim?

If you’re not up on the USL, let me remind you that the steel cage grudge match that is Sounders-Timbers takes place tomorrow and you can watch it on USLlive.com. Being that this is the last season that both sides will be in the same league it should be something to behold, especially with Portland’s away support in the house. I’m typing this post from the rear seat of a town car on my way to the airport for MLS Cup madness 2009*. So while float over the country and plot my assault on Jet City may I suggest you listen to RSL skipper Jason Kreis talk coach stuff.
