Sounders Weekly is Back! And with Pete Carroll to Boot!
Posted by admin on May 26, 2010
You can catch a glimpse of former USC/current Seahawks coach Pete Carroll at the head of this clip from SoundersFC.com. I caught a glimpse of him at Thursday’s game at Qwest Field –which he loved– and I’ll pose the same question to you that I posed to myself when I saw him: is he related to Richard Gere? Kinda looks like he could be, right? Read the rest of this entry »

John Wolyniec is my dog. He and Seth Stammler are the current and potentially eternal holders of the TOR Award For All-Around Nice Guys Who Are Not Flashy, Play Well and Give No Drama™. I didn’t know he was a guitar player though; this is what I get for going to the stadium pub before the game and not after the game. I bet if I stuck around long enough “Long Island” Mike Petke would have started in with the drunken Billy Joel covers and the we would have really seen something. Read the rest of this entry »
Back to the Hotel: US-Japan Post-Game Video

You know, McBride really does look a little aged next to the young pups. I’m not baggin’ on him, just saying that he looks olde with a “e”. He also sounds vaguely sage and wise. Perhaps in times of crisis and difficulty we should start asking ourselves “What would Macca do?” Read the rest of this entry »
